Research On Integration Of Supply Chain Process Based On The Horizontal Merger And Acquisition

The rapid development of the new economy, the ever-changing technology and capital activities that is very active, has prompted the profound changes of the market competition and business development strategy, which drive the reforms of M&A and business management mode to develop in depth.Since 1960's when people began to study M&A between firms until today, theories on M&A are rich, but the studies of integration after M&A are relatively rare. Although the integration of M&A attract people's attention day by day, most studies are focused on human resources integration and cultural integration. supply chain integration is rare, especially supply chain process integration.Looking back at domestic and abroad researches on M&A and supply chain integration, it's not difficult to find that most researches on M&A are focused on the motives, how a firm make the M&A decision, the interaction of Merger and acquisition activity between firms, the relationship betweenM&A and product life cycle or economic cycles, the effect of M&A on the industry and the overall economy, the influence of M&A on external social welfare, the internal changes of the costs, productions, markets and prices after M&A, the internal integration after M&A and so on.This article summarizes the main contents of horizontal M&A and the related supply chain process integration, analysises the objectives and principles of supply chain integration under the Horizontal M&A, identifies, designs and evaluates the supply chain processes integration.For the integration of the supply chain and integration process evaluation system,constructing the model for the integration of supply chain process,finally concluded the integration and pointed out some problems to pay attention during the integration.Finally, we get methods of evaluating supply chain process integration in M&A and some guidance in reality. To sum up, researches on supply chain process integration in horizontal mergers and acquisitions have very important theoretical and practical significance.
