Reasearch On Operational Scale Efficiency Of Tea Farmers Based On DEA

Based on the analysis of survey data of Fujian, the evaluation model of operational scale efficiency of tea farmers is constructed to have an empirical research;statistical analysis software is used to estimate the operational scale efficiency of tea farmers;regression analysis method is used to research the influencing factors of operational scale efficiency of tea farmers and find the major influencing factors and the interaction mechanisms; the related policy advice is put forward to improve the operational scale efficiency of tea farmers.Main content can be summarized as six parts:Chapter 1: Introduction. It contains the background, the presentation of issues, purpose and significance of the research, the definition of related concepts, research ideas and research methods, data sources, the innovation and lack of the research. The key component is the concept of operational scale efficiency of tea farmers.Chapter 2: Literature Review of operational scale efficiency of tea farmers. Firstly, the basic theory of operational scale of tea farmers of foreign and domestic research is reviewed; secondly, the theory of operational scale of tea farmers of research is summed up;finally,the research methods operational scale efficiency of tea farmers is observed.Chapter 3: General situation of operational scale efficiency of tea farmers in China and Fujian Province. It analyses the variation trend of operational scale of tea farmers in China and Fujian Province from 1978 and uses traditional efficiency evaluating indicator including land-output ratio and labor productivity to evaluate the situation on the efficiency scale tea farmers.Chapter 4: Research on the operational scale efficiency of tea farmers based on DEA. This is the emphasis of this research. It analyses the general situation of the actual operational scale of sample tea farmers,constructs the the evaluation model of operational scale efficiency of tea farmers,confirms the evaluation index system of operational scale efficiency of tea farmers,estimates the operational scale efficiency of tea farmers,reveals the change regularity of the operational scale of tea farmers and efficiency.Chapter 5: Analysis of the influencing factors of the operational scale efficiency of tea farmers based on Tobit model. This chapter reviews the use of Tobit model, select the household cale efficiency of tea farmer which is the outcome of DEA model as explained variable and the influencing factors of the operational scale efficiency of tea farmers as explanatory variables to have empirical analysis, reveals the operation of various factors on the operational scale efficiency of tea farmers.Chapter 6: Conclusions and recommendations. It summarizes the conclusions of this research and puts forward corresponding policy recommendations.
