With the development of the economic globalization, knowledge has become the most important strategic resource. How to effectively acquire external knowledge has become an important means to strengthen their competence for the enterprises and organizations. There is varying degree of interdependence among enterprises in the industry chain, so, knowledge transfer has different characteristics, and the affecting factors among enterprises are different because of different position in industry chain. However, the research of knowledge transfer in the industry chain has concentrated on suppliers and manufactures in the existing literature, for manufactures and sellers of rare. Based on this, this paper has studied knowledge transfer influencing factors between manufacture and seller on the background of industry chain, and study the relationship between these factors. This paper puts up 11 hypotheses after sets up the model of the factors impacting knowledge transfer on the basis of relevant research about the former researches, the paper validate the connection of the variables by analyzing questionnaire survey, SEM analysis. The contribution of this research may be:Firstly, knowledge transfer capability of upstream firm have significantly positive affect on knowledge transfer performance, knowledge absorbing ability of downstream firm and learning motivation have significantly positive affect on knowledge transfer performance.Secondly, communication and trust between enterprises, have significantly positive affect on knowledge transfer performance, among them, the degree of trust between enterprises is the role of the most significant. Communication and trust between enterprises have significantly positive affect on learning motivation of downstream firm, coordination between enterprises has a little affect on learning motivation. Finally, for the characteristics of knowledge, knowledge compatibility have significantly affect on knowledge transfer performance, knowledge complementarity has a little affect on performance of knowledge transfer. This research can be expected to have important theoretical and practical implications for formulating strategy about knowledge transfer, and further for enhancing the competitiveness of enterprises in industry chain.
