Research On The Commercializing Reform Of The Urban Garbage Treatment System In China

Since the late 70's, developed countries began to expedite the process of market reform of the urban garbage treatment system. There have been some progresses on the market reform of the urban garbage treatment system after the turn of the new century in China. However, there are problems. This article thinks that city governments must change their ideas and transform their function and market mechanism should be introduced into the treatment process to promote the commercializing reform. At the same time, the governments should beef up their roles in public management, public service, market supervision and benefit compensation. Only in this way, can everyone win.
