Study On Return Of Wind Power Investment In China

The article introduces the basic situation of wind power generation in China, and analyses the characteristics and problems in the development of wind power. By summarizing the pros and cons of various incentive policies in the world, the article analyzes the evolution of incentive policies in China, and suggests how to improve our incentive mechanism of wind power industry in future. It also estimates the investment return in wind power market by comparing typical wind plants, and analyzes the factors such as generation capacity, investment cost and sensitivity of CDM(clean development mechanism), which will influence the investment return on wind power projects. The study gives evaluation of investment return on the accessing project of different scales of wind power plants and large wind power bases, thus proposes corresponding advices in policies.
