| China is in rapid development of urbanization and industrialization stage, with the rapid socio-economic development and the rising level of urbanization, cities and towns will be the rapid expansion of construction land. However, the current development of China's urban land use efficiency is low, taking up too many cities and towns surrounding cultivated land is very serious, much less for the people, lack of arable land and plaque is undoubtedly worse for our country. Therefore, the economical and intensive use of land become the inevitable trend of land use.In this study, to learn the advanced theories, methods and the basis of the investigation, collect a variety of information, from both theoretical and empirical research on the use of urban land-intensive content, technical line, research methods, in-depth research, and Baoding 23 counties (cities, districts) made intensive use of urban land of innovation.Text is divided into six chapters. The first chapter discusses the topics of urban land-intensive use of the background, purpose and meaning, specifically the need for intensive use of urban land, on the intensive use of urban land at home and abroad were reviewed to clarify the innovations in this study. Chapter II first intensive use of land from the urban point of view of the urban land-use characteristics, made intensive use of urban land Essence, and on this basis, introduced the law of diminishing returns of land, location theory, land rent and price theory and sustainable development theory.Chapter III of the basis of land use analysis in Baoding reveals that population, economic development is the expansion of construction land in Baoding, and proposed urban land-use problems.Chapter IV of "intensive use of construction land conservation evaluation procedures" (TD/T1018-2008) as the basis to construct a macro-evaluation index system, using qualitative analysis and principal component analysis method, Baoding 22 counties (cities ) intensive use of urban land in the state of the measurement and evaluation.
