With the continuous deepening of economic globalization and the development of logistics industry, logistics has become the source for enterprises to reduce costs and increase profits. How to develop an effective logistics strategy to select appropriate logistic mode and improve logistics management performance was one of the most important problems that business decision-makers would facing. Based on this, the manufacturing enterprises which logistics have most outstanding characteristics was selected as the research object, the research focuses on the manufacturing enterprises logistics mode selection and coordination strategies. In the beginning, the factors which impacted the logistics model selection of manufacturing enterprises were found out through literatures analysis at first. Then, major factors were acquired by means of Delphi expert questionnaire method. On this basis, key influencing factors were obtained by using interpretative structural modeling (ISM) analysis tool. The results of ISM analysis showed that there had a strong hierarchical relations between these factors. Then, the logistics modes were presented that manufacturing enterprises could choose, through reviewing the logistics mode classification. Four-steps model of logistics mode decision for manufacturing enterprises was proposed, which divided the decision process into four stages:logistics demand analysis, impact extent analysis of logistics business on enterprise competitiveness, comparative advantage analysis of logistics capability between manufacturer and 3PL providers, and selection of logistics mode. The qualitative or quantitative analysis methods and analysis tools for each stage were given in details. Finally, the logistics alliance which formed by the manufacturer and the TPL (third party logistics enterprise) was selected as a key object of study. First the coordination problems of logistics alliance while logistics demand uncertainty was studied, coordination mechanism based on cost-sharing was proposed, which through enterprises and TPL sharing the holding cost of remainder logistics capabilities of TPL to achieve the coordination of logistics alliances; Then quality of service coordination for logistics alliances while logistics demand certainty was researched, which proposed a coordinated strategy by creating incentive mechanisms of manufacturers to reduce the delayed rate of TPL.
