LP is a revolutionary way of production management and practice, which is the 3rd milestone in the industrial history of mankind. The core of LP is to reduce waste and establish production system with high flexibility and efficiency. It represents the trend of current manufacturing industry, and is known as the "the standard production model of 21 century manufacturing industry.This article, based on characteristics of automobile parts manufacturing enterprise in china, this paper briefly introduces the origin and development of LP model, its basic theory and research and application of LP model. Furthermore, through analysis of current situation of S-J, issues that lie in company's operation have been identified, therefore this article points out that the necessity and feasibility of implementing LP model. Combining the current situation of S-J Company, starting from introduction of LP theory, brings up the fact of necessity and urgency that LP model should be implemented within similar automobile parts manufacturing enterprise. This article use case study method, during the discussion of implementation process within S-J, issues that raised in production site, process control and quality management have been analyzed. Through implementation of LP's total Productive Maintenance,5S, Pull Kanban, Pull ANDENG and Process monitoring etc, this article explained the LP whole implementation process within S-J Company. Also with the positive results from the LP implementation, it also proves the necessity of introducing LP model to enterprises. Moreover, based on S-J's practical situation, collection and analysis of current production data, by using manufacturing department as pilot project and combining LP model and multiple current management tools such as industrial engineering, a series of improvements targeting production site have been conducted. In the end, the paper also conducted benefit analysis of LP model's implementation.With the increasing number of type of product, decreasing in price in the market, also consumer's increasing demand in quality, in order to improve current situation, S-J has to improve its own ability of operational management, operational efficiency and cost control. Therefore, with the same product, S-J has to have lower product cost, With the same production cost, S-J has better quality, With the same investment, S-J has higher resource utilization rate. In order to achieve above goals, S-J has to quickly improve current production management model based on its own situation and requirement of LP model, to improve company competitive force, therefore to archive more for development in the market.
