Farming cooperation is one of the social relations which are composed by two or more households in order to complete agricultural production. It's one of the most popular cooperative behaviors in rural area. Mutual cooperation in agricultural production began since human beings began to plant grain. There are different mutual cooperation, such as mutual aid, helper and partnership. Farming cooperation reflects interpersonal relationship of villagers.The writer cited Guo-village, which is a typical example of the underdeveloped northwest rural area of China, and analyzed the manifestations of farming cooperation, the causes of farming cooperation, the conditions of farming cooperation, the cooperative contents of farming cooperation, the cooperative method of farming cooperation and the achievement of farming cooperation. Guo-village has special natural environment and humanistic environment. Whether planting bast in the early 90s of the 20th century, or planting garlic sprouts and lettuce now, there is special farming cooperation. Four factors impel farming cooperation:the special environment and crops, insufficient labor, market requirement and tillage methods.A lot of factors restrict farming cooperation, including bilateral relationship, planting area, labor force and implements of labor. Villagers begin to cooperate under the equal conditions.Several types of cooperation are gradually formed in the process of long-term cultivation. Firstly, consanguinity cooperation, composed by those who are consanguineous relationship; secondly, friends cooperation, composed by those who are good friends; thirdly, dilin cooperation, composed by those who are adjoining farmland neighbors; fourthly, neighbor cooperation, composed by those who are neighbors; fifthly, other cooperation. Generally speaking, the first two types are the most popular.Other aspects of farming cooperation are also investigated in the paper, such as whether food supply is necessary; what can be done in order to compensate counterpart when they have unequal conditions; what can be done when one break engagement. Farming cooperation not only promotes local agriculture development, but also improves the peasants'income.On this basis, three results are deduced. First, there are different types of farming cooperation. Second, farming cooperation among villagers is more popular than before. Third, there is rational thinking based on considering relationship in farming cooperation.
