| Small enterprises are playing an increasingly important role in the national economy. In many aspects they even cannot be replaced by large and medium enterprises. However, small enterprise face such as poor growth environment, the shortage of funds and other barriers to restrict its rapid development. Although in recent years, the government has adopted many policies to support small business development. However, the support effect is not very satisfactory. This may because we did not reasonably select the small enterprise as the support targets based on growth potential. Currently there is no growth potential index evaluation system of small business as a government policy, the basis for investors to make investment decisions. Therefore, in order to support the rational use of funds, to make the right investment decisions and to profit small business with growth potential, our study focuses on establishing a growth potential evaluation index system of small enterprise. The main contents are as follows:The first chapter describes the research background, significance, the research thread and innovations. The second chapter introduces the definition of small enterprises, the concept of potential in terms of small enterprise. Described existent research results of domestic and overseas about business growth evaluation. We use Penrose's theory of firm growth, Schumpeter's innovation theory and the theory of Prahalad's core competencies as the basis to evaluate the growth potential of a small business based. Chapter III Under the guidance of certain principles, we construct a Potential small business evaluation index system. The meaning of each index is explained, and the qualitative indicators of quantitative methods are also given. Chapter IV compares existing comprehensive evaluation methods, and selects P harmonic coefficient method, a combination of level analysis and entropy method, as the criteria of potential evaluation of small business. Chapter V examines the constructed evaluation system. We select 20 companies of Hefei National University Science Park as the subjects, and analyze obtained evaluation results. According to analysis results, we put forward the countermeasures, cultivating small enterprises with potential and enhancing growth potential of small business. Chapter VI summarizes the paper, indicates the deficiencies of the work and the prospects of follow-up studies.We draw the conclusion from the evaluation results that potential of innovation strongly correlates with growth potential. This result suggests that potential of innovation plays an important role on the growth potential. Potential of the core team also has a strong correlation with growth potential, which is another significant indicator affecting growth potential. Potential of Environment support and growth potential have a very strong correlation. This shows that the survival environment of small enterprise in all aspects have a major impact on the growth potential of small enterprise. Compared to other factors, the marketing potential and growth potential have no significant correlation.The evaluation results show that, vigorously promoting the intermediary service system and small enterprise emulsifier construction, improving the market mechanism of capital, talent and technology, creating a good environment of government services, fostering small enterprise core competence and core capability of the training team has an important role on cultivating small potential enterprises and growth potential enhancement. |
