| Geopark is a new term,which created by UNESCO in the studying the feasibility of UNESCO Geopark Programme . UNESCO defines the Geopark that a Geopark is an area with a geological heritage of significance, with a coherent and strong management structure and where a sustainable economic development strategy is in place. A Geopark creates enhanced employment opportunities for the people who live there bringing sustainable and real economic benefit, usually through the development of sustainable tourism. In the framework of a Geopark, geological heritage and geological knowledge is shared with the broad public and linked with broader aspects of the natural and cultural environment, which are often closely related or determined to geology and landscape. The purposes that UNESCO stressed Geopark establishment are:①p rotect the geological heritage and its environment;②promote popularization-education on earth science and research;③w ith the development of tourism,promoting the local economy.Geopark is based on the geological heritage,integrating with natural landscape and cultural landscape.And with a strong tourist attraction,good tourism economic benefits,social benefits with science and culture, environmental benefits with protecting the geological heritage and natural environment.The concept of a Geopark aroused the attention of Governments because of its significant comprehensive benefit. There are 138 National Geopark and 141 Provincial Geopark Across all mainland provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions with the approval of Ministry of national land resources since 2000, of which 20 have become World Geopark.With the development of the geopark, a lot of scholars studied it and awarded valueabe results, such as: the concept of geopark, types, functional value, location, the delineation of the scope , geological basis and a series of basic theory; also refered to the survey and evaluation of the tourism resource,the construction of the tourism destination,the functional layout of the tourism destination,the design of the tourism product,the construction of the interpretation system,the planning and the protecting and management of the geopark.But the tourism satisfaction of the geopark were rarely involved.The paper uses the customer satisfaction theroy which sophisticated in the foreign country to the geopark.After analysis the difference between the geopark and other scenic areas,the main factors affecting the tourism satisfaction,building the evaluation system for tourism satisfaction which suitable to the geopark.And applies it to the empirical research, finding the key factors affecting the tourism satisfaction,analysis the weakness of the products and service.Put forward the measures in order to improve the products and service, enhance the tourism satisfaction and win the loyalty of the tourists.The paper is composed of five chapters:ChapterI:Introduction.It mainly introduces the background and significance,purpose and method of study, content and framework ,the research status.Chapter II: The concepts and basical theory.Chapter III: The study on the measurement indicator system of tourism satisfaction for geopark.It includes:①the composition of measurement indicator system, including the principle and the construction②t he weights of the measurement indicators which using factor analysis method;③t he calculation of tourist satisfaction.Chapter IV:Empirical study of the tourism satisfaction for geopark.As Guangdong Danxiashan Geopark an example, apply the measurement indicator system which in the chapter III into the practise and calculate the tourist satisfaction of the geopark.And based on the analysis of the tourist satisfaction,the paper proposes development strategy to enhance the tourist satisfaction of geopark.Chapter Five: The main conclusions of the article, innovations and lackness. The main conclusions:(1) It has constructed the tourist satisfaction measurement indicator system of geopark.After analyzes the characteristics of the geological park,the paper constructed the tourist satisfaction measurement indicator system of geopark.The indicator system consists of three components: comprehensive assessment level, project level and the factor level. Comprehensive evaluation ,as an indicator ,which is the overall tourist satisfaction indicator; Project levels including seven secondary indicators ,which are the image of geopark, geological heritage landscapes, tourism interpretation, service facilities, general management, the protection of resources and environmental, tourist spending;Factor levels including 29 thirdly indicators ,which can be measured directly.(2) According to the actual data of survey, using factor analysis to determine the weights. In order to reflect the wishes of tourists fully, the paper uses the "customer-centered" theory in customer satisfaction survey, and uses the actual data of survey to determine the weights.(3) As Danxiashan World Geopark in Guangdong an empirical study. This study selected Danxiashan Geopark, Guangdong as an empirical study.After collating and analysis the date of survey,the paper calculates the tourist satisfaction index.The last is the conclusion that the indicators with high importance, but low satisfaction of Danxiashan Geopark.And it proposes specific measures to enhance tourist satisfaction.The main innovation of the thesis are as follows :Establishing the measurement indicator system of tourism satisfaction for geopark .The paper applies the customer satisfaction theory and evaluation techniques into the study on the geopark.Which is a suitable tourist satisfaction measurement tool for the managers of the geopark . |
