The reformation of property is the key part to the economic system reforming in our country, and the reformation in stated-owned enterprise, which is in the phase of handicap, is crucial. It relates to the consolidation of public-owned system and success to construction of socialization. The reformation in stated-owned enterprise in our country, essentially, in the basis of insisting the public-owned domination and socialization constitution, is the adjustment and completion of socialist relations of production and makes it more suitable to the development of productivity ,presenting the superiority of socialization constitution .To make sure to get the foreseen result of reformation in stated-owned enterprise and improve the economic system in socialized markets, effective theory is highly necessary to guide and intensify the reformation.Nowadays, concerning to the reformation in stated-owned enterprise, which theory can be the direction has not agreed. Obvious differences exist and there are two inclinations. The one sticks to traditional Marxism to guarantee socializing orientation, but the prevailing is that the reformation in stated-owned enterprise should be guided by the The west modern property theory,in the name of Coase.They think the views about property in Marxism has been out of date and no longer fit for the reality in China's reformation while The west modern property theory is the advanced one and can be the theory to guide the reformation in stated-owned enterprise.The article answers the questions about which theory should be the choice in the reformation in stated-owned enterprise after the brief comparison and analysis of Marxist property theory and The west modern property theory.The article includes 4 parts. The first and the second parts are the brief introduction to both of the theories. The third part has some comparison and analysis in the different aspects. The conclusion is drawn in the forth part, which is,the reformation in stated-owned enterprise must insist the Marxist property theory strongly, or it is the privatization and will end our socialization finally. At the same time, referencing and absorbing the essence in The west modern property theory should be emphasized so that we can enrich and develop Marxist property theory in the practice of reformation.
