As continuous development of international trade,there is a cluster which is made of port-centered logistics enterprises almost existed in each large port. They provide kinds of port-centered logistic services. Those port-centered logistics enterprises act as part of population type complex systems. Facing quick development of port-centered logistic industry, people in different places whipped up a rush of building port-centered logistic park. But for now, local governments are staying in a beginning stage about the building and programming of port-centered logistics and lack systematically scientific basis for the developing programming of port-centered logistics. Moreover, they also lack systematically long-term management policies for those port-centered logistic enterprises moving into parks and know little of different logistic enterprises'self-organizational and birth-death rules. In a word, lacking programming, managing port-centered logistic enterprises population and methodology.This article bases on modern complex system science. According to theoretical research, the writer explains complexity of port-centered logistic enterprises system and points out that it belongs to one special system in complex systems——colony system. Port-centered logistic enterprises population processes its own periodic evolutionary pattern and this colony system separately experiences pure gathering stage,fast growing to stabilization stage,innovation stage and decline stage.During each stage, port-centered logistic enterprises colony system approximately is effected by two respects from macroscopic angle and microcosmic angle. From microcosmic angle, port-centered logistic industry has natural dependence on port environment and geographical resource advantage is not instead.Government is a microcosmic controller of economical policy environment, which has a positive effect on forming port-centered logistic enterprise colony system. From microcosmic angle, port-centered logistic enterprise colony system is a product of market economical mechanism and the development and forming of enterprise cluster have a close relationship with market change. The forming of port-centered enterprise cluster is performance that port-centered enterprises pursue network effects and scale economy.Cellular automation model has always been a core technology on studying complex system by a from-bottom-to-top building way and it establishes cellular automation simulation model that is suitable for port-centered logistic enterprise colony system. Each port-centered logistic enterprise is a cellular and every cellular experiences creative critical state,growing critical state,stable critical state and decline critical state, Moreover each of them has a steady life circle. Every cellular is influenced by cellulars that are around them and each influencing factor has different effect on each cellular state. This article built up cellular automation model and use discrete event dynamic system simulation software to establish simulation model. Furthermore, by simulation experiments,we conclude that:as to port-centered logistic enterprise colony system, environment factor influences this colony system most. Government factor takes the second place, then marketing factor after it. Network cluster has the least effect on this colony system.This article has a certain academic value and engineering significance on scientifically knowing port-centered logistic enterprises colony system and inside rules, optimizing port-centered logistics programming and designing and port-centered logistics management.
