Research On Development Patterns Of Wuhan High-tech Industry

High-tech industry is the strategic and guiding industry of economic and social development; it is a core symbol of measure economic development level and competitiveness of a country or a region. High-tech industry is increasingly becoming the forefront and focus of international and domestic regional competition, its development level not only to determine the division of labor and competitiveness of a country or a region in the global economy, but also affect its future development pattern and stamina.At present, Wuhan high-tech industry has developed rapidly, while still facing some unfavorable factors such as irrational industrial structure, relatively small industrial scale, and weak independent innovation capability, etc, there is a big gap compared with the eastern region especially. To face the coexistence situation of development and competition, Wuhan government how to adjust the development way to maintain the rapid development of high-tech industries is one of the major problems in Wuhan's economic development.Based on above background, this paper applies management and economics relevant theories, using literature studies, comparative analysis, qualitative analysis combined with quantitative analysis, technical analysis combined with economic analysis research methods, mainly discusses domestic and overseas related research on the high-tech industry, summarizes the development patterns of high-tech industries in the world, analyzes and generalizes current development situation and development features of high-tech industry in Wuhan, analyzes the high-tech industry of Wuhan from industrial scale, international competitiveness and high-tech development zone compared with other regions, finds out the gaps and problems in the development, and according to the development idea of Wuhan high-tech industry, finally, puts forward five development patterns of high-tech industries in Wuhan, that cluster pattern for the high-tech industrial chain, propelling pattern of platform for the key technological breakthrough, organizational integration pattern for high-tech industrial enterprise, technology integration pattern for the transformation of traditional industries and independent innovation demo pattern for three-levels.Accelerate to develop high-tech industry is the strategic choice to achieve the first rise of Wuhan in Central China, is the effective way to achieve leapfrog development of Wuhan economic by transform the way of economic growth and improve industrial competitiveness, also is the key to promote strategic adjustment of Wuhan economic structure and accelerate the pace of new-type industrialization. I hope that the research can play a reference role in the development of Wuhan high-tech industry in the future.
