After the merger of China Unicom and China Netcom, it is important and urgent to deal with the problem that how to make the advantages in their respective fields become a much larger advantage of the new company. New strategies are necessary,especially for the effective integration of the marketing staff where the most employees are involved. Minimum sales unit operation model is a innovative form of marketing.It is applied by the Henan Unicom in order to adapt to full-service operations, streamline front-end marketing and service needs. In this paper, it discussed the rebuilding of Xuchang China Unicom using the minimum sales unit operation model and make useful research and practice of the main strategy for grass-roots integration after the corporate merger. In this paper, it completed the design of the organizational structure and the compartmentalize of the responsibility of a minimum of marketing unit mode;established the measurement methods and the incentive compensation models based on efficiency; set up induction training and certification mechanisms as well as front-end marketing services standardization process.
