The Research About The Ability Of Economic Sustainable Development In Baotou

From the 20th century, we have achieved a rapid development in the field of global economy, and have caused tremendous damage to the environment. Based on the profound reflection and constantly summing up, the concept of sustainable development was put forward when we faced the worsening crisis. The concept demanded that we should develop the economy coordinately with society, environment and natural resources, and put the emphasis on the equal rights between the generations. It was a bran-new concept of development which advocated that human being should coexist with nature harmoniously. This concept pointed out the direction of the development of mankind.With the research to the sustainable development go deeply, the studies about capacity of the sustainable economic development and the evaluation systems have become a hotspot. We applied the methods of the Qualitative and quantitative research in the process of setting up the index systems of economic sustainable development capacity. The economic development problems could be found more accurately and propose appropriate measures during the sustainable development of economy, so we could keep the capacity of sustainable development of economy grow constantly. Baotou is a relatively underdeveloped city, developing the economy rapidly and improving the people's growing material needs are our chief assignment now. We should consider the influence of natural resources, environment, population and other factors rather than pursue the growth of economy simply. Based on the identification between sustainable development and sustainable development of economy, we set forth the connotation of economic sustainable development capacity. According to the principles of objectivity, hierarchy, representation and operability header, the evaluation index system of the economic sustainable development capacity were constructed. We also put forward the specific methods of evaluation. Those works are helpful to the comprehensive study of the economic sustainable development capacity in Baotou. The results in the thesis show the situation of economy, society, environment and natural resources through the analysis to status quo of economic sustainable development in Baotou. We calculated the value of each index and compared the data with each other by using the methods of analytic hierarchy process, expert consulting, the maximum non-dimension and integrated measurement formulas. According to the principles of the enhancing of Ti+1> Ti represent ability, we made a dynamic evaluation to the economic sustainable development capacity in Baotou. Generally speaking, the results show that the ability of economic sustainable development in Baotou is enhancing in recent years, including its next-level indicators of economic factors and non-economic factors of sustainable development capacity. After further detailed analysis, we could found that the indexes value of economic growth in economic factors, economic efficiency, the natural resources in non-economic factors and environmental factors are on the decline or have not change a lot. Those are the important factors which restrict the enhancing of economic sustainable development ability in Baotou.Finally, according to the dynamic assessment, we came to the conclusions and proposed the corresponding proposal to improve the economic sustainable development ability in Baotou.
