Petroleum plays a very important role in every country as a special resource, it also plays a decisive role in modern industrial development., especially for developing countries, like China. Petroleum security is not only related to resource security , even to the national level. Petroleum security as a abstract concept, is impacted by supply, demand and price. As a special kind of resources, petroleum is impacted by economic, political and military factors. The relationship of supply, demand and price is worth to study deeply. This article discusses the subject around supply, demand and price.This paper is divided into five chapters. Chapter one is introduction of the paper. Chapter two is petroleum security-related theories. Chapter three is the status-quo and problems of our petroleum, including reserves, distribution, production, import, export, consumption, price, etc. First of all, listing three impact factors from supply, demand and price angles. Secondly, making supply and demand on price correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis, discuss the relationship of these factors. Finally, using AHP to analysis the importance of supply, demand and price on petroleum security. arranging the degree of influence of three factors. Chapter five is learning from the advanced experience of foreign countries, seeking the strategic choices for our petroleum security in the angles of supply, demand and price.
