With the rapid development of science technology and the productive forces, the market structure shifted from a seller's to buyer's market, competition among enterprises has become increasingly intense. The quality of product has been the most powerful weapon of enterprise competition, because the quality of the product is reflect the customer needs and meet customer demand, product quality also determine whether the enterprise can survival and development in the fierce market competition. Various issues are need to consider when companies make decisions of whether to improve the quality of products such as the improving fixed costs, the sales quality of retailers in the supply chain and willingness to cooperate and the influence of uncertain environment. View of this, a two-stage supply chain is developed into the paper and considers the decision of quality improvement.First, the introduction of supply chain management and supply chain quality management theory are presented, Which includes the supply chain, the generation, development process and operation mechanism and coordination of supply chain management theory, quality and the development of quality management theory.Secondly, based on the truth that quality influence the consumer's demand, a two-stage supply chain is developed which manufacturer is leader. The quality level of product how to influence the decision of the manufacturer and the effect of different fixed cost of improvement on quality improvement is studied, the manufacturer how to improve his profit by improve the quality of product or cooperate with retailer also studied.Then, based on the truth that manufacture and sale quality influence the consumer's demand, a two-stage supply chain is developed which manufacturer is a leader. The decision of quality of manufacturer and retailer at distributed decision and centralized decision is studied and a contact of cost allocation and revenue sharing to coordinate the supply chain is designed. The conclusion implies the contract can contact manufacturer and retailer, share risks and they both can get more profit than at distributed decision, the thought of coordinate of supply chain is reflected.Finally, the uncertain environment is considered into the two-stage supply chain, the manufacturer how to determine the produce quality and the retailer how to determine the sale quality in the uncertain environment is researched, compared with decision at certain environment, the profit of manufacturer and retailer will be less, also the cost allocation and revenue sharing contract can coordinate the supply chain and greater profits.
