Innovative Research On The Industrial Organization Of Chinese Dairy Processing Industry

Dairy industry is a late started and weak industrial based industry in Chinese agriculture and food processing industry. Since the reform and opening up, especially since in recent years, the Chinese dairy industry has developed very rapidly, and the Chinese dairy industry increasingly obvious in the role of the promotion of Chinese agricultural restructuring, increasing farmers'income, expanding the domestic demand, stimulating the consumption and improving the national fitness, gradually become in to the important industry of national economic development and social progress. The rapidly development of Chinese dairy industry drives the rapidly development of dairy processing industry, but for the dairy industry this rapidly development brought about much problems such as market structure and corporate behaviors. To better address these issues, we need to do the innovative research of industrial organization, find out the corresponding countermeasures and promote healthy and orderly development for the dairy processing industry.In order to do the innovative research of industrial organization of Chinese dairy processing industry. This paper mainly analyze and studies three aspects:The overview of development in dairy industry, industrial organization of dairy industry and innovation industrial organization of dairy industry.The overview of the dairy processing industry:Firstly analyze the development of international dairy industry from two factors:production and consumption status, found that international dairy product has been the forefront in animal husbandry and kept slow and low growth, I also found that developed countries are the major consumer of dairy products. Then analyze the situation of the development of Chinese dairy industry, and summarized the following conclusions:Chinese dairy industry has the characteristics such as the fast-growth number of enterprise, small scale and simple structure products etc.The organization of dairy processing industry analysis:Firstly, analyze the situation of Chinese dairy processing industry, such as the market concentration is not high, low barriers to entry and high barriers to exit. Then analyze the price behaviors between Mengniu and Yili by the Bertrand model of pricing decisions, found that the price competition during Chinese dairy companies is too fierce. Then analysize the non-price behavior in Chinese Enterprises, come to the conclution of that there is no sufficient non-price competition in Chinese dairy industry presently. Finally, analysize the market performance of Chinese dairy processing industory.Innovation organizations of dairy processing industry:Firstly introduce the innovative ways for market structure of Chinese dairy industry--exert the role of institutional barriers to entry, exert the role of economies of scale barriers and innovate the barriers to exit. Then, we introduce the way taken by dairy enterprises to do the technological innovation--develop high-tech products and processes, at the same time to avoid competing on innovation input and technological innovation competition. Then do the innovative research on non-price behavior during dairy companies, and summarized the conclusions of that, the type and quality of dairy products should be refined classification and developed, advertise the products should focused on the function of dairy products, nutritional value and the ways of food. Finally, Research on market innovation, and summarized the conclusions of that stronger technology-based corporate can choose the first-originated innovation model, while small and medium enterprises can choose areas of customer innovation first-originated innovation model.The last part is a summary and outlook, as the objective constraints, the author can't carrying out specific investigations, Can only do the analysis through the statistical data.
