Research Of The Application Of Project Management In The Large Logistics Enterprises

The 21st century, more and more logistics companies adapt the development both of themselves'and social to expand business scope, develop new service items, and take the initiative to transform from a purely modern logistics operators to modern logistic enterprise in order to become bigger and stronger. Because modern logistics enterprises in business scope, mode of operation and many other aspects have obvious different from the traditional logistics enterprises, facing many new problems and challenges, how to use advanced management concepts and technological approaches to promote the upgrading of enterprise management and to accelerate the modernization of logistics management have become the focus of management innovation. This article determine to introduce the project management theory to enhance the level of logistics management and improve management methods based on analyzing the the current management problems of logistics enterprise. Firstly, this article make a introduction for the concept and classification of logistics, analyze the relation between logistics enterprise management and project , and highlight to analyze the existing problems in Chinese logistics enterprises .Secondly, this article demonstrate the necessity and feasibility of applying the project management theory into the logistics enterprise management. Thirdly, this article build the theoretical framework of the logistics enterprise project management, including logistics enterprise project management team building, project objectives management , the project process management and special procedural process of logistics enterprise. Finally, this article use the project management theory of the logistics which has been presented in this paper to design procedural management process for the project of the Chinese foreign third-party logistics enterprise, and then give some advice for project improvement:Improve project visibility within the enterprise; project implementation should focus on standardization; primary companies should give a special attention for the project in the implementation of the project; enhance communication; business and project managers should pay attention to the project management process, and to establish effective project management process ; organize team activities and establish project team culture;give the public material or moral incentives to project team members; it should implement professional finishing process etc.
