Study On The Synergy Between Urbanization Process And Cultivated Land's Dynamic Changes In Chengdu

Chengdu's urbanization process has entered a accelerated development stage, to know the contradiction between the urbanization process and cultivated land resource was important to realize the Sustainable development objectives that the food, construction and ecology were in the state of coordinated development. Based on sustainable development theory, man-land relationship theory and land location theory, took Chengdu's urbanization process and dynamic change of cultivated land as the research object, this paper analysed the synergy of cultivated land resources quantity and quality change, cultivated land pressure and conversion efficiency, studied the impact of urbanization process on cultivated land resources by synergetic theory and method, revealed the synergy of urbanization process and cultivated land dynamic change of cultivated land, explored the synergy problems and collaborative control measures of cultivated land in the urbanization process. Studies have shown that:(1) In the urbanization Process, Chengdu's construction land expanded rapidly, the city's scale continuously enlarged, and the city's scale expanding rate was faster than non-agricultural population growth rate. This reflected the non-synergy relationship between urban land and demographic change.(2) The non-synergy between the process of urbanization and the quantitative change of cultivated was deteriorating more and more. The total area of cultivated land and Per capita arable cultivated land of Chengdu declined continuously, and per capita arable cultivated land of Chengdu belowed FAO alertness, which was difficult to meet their 400 kg basic requirements for food security, cultivated land pressure was significantly.(3) The non-synergy between the process of urbanization and cultivated land quality change had become apparent gradually.The economy quality of cultivated land was improving, but due to the background quality volatility changed and the eco-environment quality constantly deteriorated, the comprehensive quality of cultivated land appeared a more significant decline in 1998,2005,2008. At the same time, Cultivated land eco-environment quality had become a major obstacle factor to improve the comprehensive quality.(4) The synergy between the process of urbanization and cultivated land conversion efficiency improved gradually in Chengdu.The trend of cultivated land conversion efficiency was upward on the whole from 1996 to 2008, especially after 2004 this trend has accelerated noticeably.(5) Through relevant analysis and incremental analysis showed that Chengdu's urbanization was the leading factor causing the total area and per capita area and eco-environment quality of cultivated land decreased. At the same time, this paper showed that the changes of total area, per capita area and socio-economic quality of cultivated land ware greatly influenced by urbanization through the establishment of quadratic regression model.
