Study On The Cultivated Land Resource Protection During The Urbanization Process In Hubei Province

The urbanization is the human economy developed to a certain stage of the inevitable outcome. With the development of urbanization and city land unprecedented expansion, which lead to land area sharply decrease,especially,the cultivated land. The cultivated land resources is a scarce natural resources and it is one of the key elements of the development of agriculture. Protection of limited cultivated land resource and promoting its use mining maximum potential is the key to solve the contradiction between human and land.and is also the guarantee of food security. Hubei province as a big agricultural province in central China, paying an important position in the national food production occupies. With the implementation of the strategy"the rise of the central region",the hubei province’s urbanization and industrialization quickened significantly, meanwhile, cultivated land conversion Non-agriculturalization trend increase. The rapid population growth, increase the number of cities, decrease the cultivated land per capita, fall the quality of cultivated land, which are aggravating contradictory between person and land,also seriously affect the sustainable development of society and economy of hubei province.This paper studies the cultivated land changes in the number and quality of hubei province urbanization. Analyzed since the year2000the correlation and influences between hubei province urbanization development level and the cultivated land quantity and quality changes through the economic measurement and quantitative methods, and forecasts the development trend of urbanization. Combined with nearly10years of cultivated land resources quantity and quality, and other aspects of the changes to analysis the driving forces of the change of cultivated land resource, and seek to protect cultivated land resource feasibility measures. Through the improvement of cultivated land resources management and protection mechanism, strengthen urban land use and save intensive management, realize the coordinated development of urbanization and the cultivated land resources. The article content is divided into six chapters:The first chapter basically introduced research theories of cultivated land protection in the process of urbanization at home and abroad. The second chapter is the analytical theories of the relationship between urbanization development and cultivated land resources changes. The third chapter introducts the foreign countries in the practice of cultivated land protection. The fourth chapter analyzes the urbanization process characteristics and the cultivated land resource situation and trends in hubei province. Using relevant models to analyze the relationship between the hubei province urbanization and the cultivated land use changes,and reach the relevant conclusions. Chapter5puts forward the coordinated development measures of urbanization and cultivated land protection obtained in front of the farmland change causes. Chapter6is the conclusion of this study and prospected. This part summarizes the final study concluded on the base of the results which studies in front analysis.At the same time, the defects and shortcomings is also discussed in this paper, and prospect the future research.
