Based on the classical SCP theory in Industrial Organization, this paper starts with learning the status quo of China automobile industry concentration ratio and its determinants, then takes Concentration Ratio, Herfindahl-Hirschman Index and Gini Coefficient respectively as comparative index to culculate the brand structure of China automobile industry depending on the processed data originally collected from"China Automotive Industry Yearbook",finds the"L curve"in its regulation and trend, gives some reasonable proposals that favor the further M&A in China automobile industry.
