Research On Assessment Model For Large And Mediumsized Sci-tech Museum & Its Application

Sci-Tech Museum as national platform for promoting science and technology plays a big roll in promoting science and technology. Yet us China's Sci-Tech Museum is suffering many problems, especially that lack of a set of assessment indicators by which to evaluating Sci-Tech Museum constrains its development so as fail to better serve society. The thesis attempts to construct a set of assessment indicators system suitable for evaluating us China's Sci-Tech Museum by virtue if assessment indicators used by other public serving organizations.We firstly construct assessment model for large and medium-sized Sci-Tech Museum by means of AHP in light of its characteristics together with Standard Sci-Tech Museum Construction Rules, which cover five dimensions and 22 indicators, then apply the assessment system to conduct an assessment of A Sci-Tech Museum. The results shows that A Sci-Tech Museum scores 82.22 that is classified into excellent Sci-Tech Museum.
