Study On The Factors Of The Theme Park's Development

During the past decades, tourism became the fastest growing industries in the world, the modern theme park is an outstanding performance in the tourism industry. It takes just a few decades to be a rapid reinforcement of tourism and quickly spread worldwide from its creation. The theme park in China grow rapidly as well since 1980s, however the relevant theory didn't keep in step with. Based on overall review of existing research achievement, this paper presents the developing process of China's theme parks and puts forward certain proposals, taking the Floraland in Chengdu for example.The text consists of 5 parts all together as following,The first part is the introduction, including the background, the basic concepts and theories, and methods and structures based on these. The innovation and shortcomings of this study are briefly summarized.The second part is the literature review, summarizing the concept and classification and the function of the theme park.The third part focuses on the present status of the theme park in China, it analyses the relevant researches and gives the main factors influencing the success of a theme park.The fourth part is the case study, beginning with a brief introduction of the Floraland in Chengdu, it introduces the development process and points out the problems exposed during development as well as the corresponding measures.The fifth part is the conclusion, it sums up the main conclusions of this article, and the author's suggestions on the development of the theme park.According to the research, the theme park industry has formed a certain scale of the industry position now in China. To ensure a lasting and stable development, it depends on outstanding theme and specific project activities, social and economic environment etc., all of these factor working together can guarantee a sustainable development project.
