Study On Knowledge Work Efficiency And Influencing Factors Of Group Collaborative Work Under Dynamic Network Environment

In knowledge economy era, computer and network technology and various kinds of management information systems and application softwares have been widely used in manufacturing enterprise, group collaborative knowledge work has become a new and main knowledge work style, with computer as its operation platform, with various kinds of information systems, design or planning softwares as its application tools, and with mental work as its main context. This new kind of knowledge work support by network, make collective intelligence its strength. The work processes of new work always are not fixed and clear but changeable and flexible, and the working tools become more intelligentize and humanize and being updated with great speed, and its environment change dynamically. Because this new work style is great different from the traditional, lots of methods which improve the traditional work efficiency well do not come into effect for it. How to improve the efficiency of group collaboractive knowledge work has become a urgent problem for enterprise under dynamic network environment. In order to solve this problem, we will dissuced a series of issues about group collaboractive knowledge work efficiency start from knowledge work process.Firstly, dynamic network environment was describled, the concept of knowledge work and group collaboractive knowledge work was defined also, then knowledge work process was analyzed in work system perspective, the connotation, nature and measurement of group collaboractive knowledge work efficiency were disscused. Secondly, efficiency influencing factors of group collaboractive knowledge work were analyzed and classed in human, machine, material, method and environment aspects by experimental study, literature research and enterprise interview. A relationship model of factors affect on group collaboractive knowledge work efficiency was constructed based on the analysis on influencing mechanism, and three theoretical hypotheses about the affect of influencing factors in five aspects on knowledge work effiency were put forward and verfied by questionnaire survey and regression analysis. Lastly, several countermeasures for improving group collaboractive knowledge work efficiency were put forward. The main research results in this paper as follows:â‘ knowledge work under dynamic network environment is a knowledge work system which consist of elements of knowledge worker, computer, information material, work method and environment. The process of group collaborative knowledge work is interaction between knowledge work system elements which output with valuable information products or servers. Interactions which among knowledge workers, between knowledge worker and computer, and among computers are the main interactive relationships in the knowledge work process and propel the work forward. Group collaboractive knowledge work efficiency is collaborative efficiency of interaction between knowledge work elements, and knowledge workers'interactive efficiency, knowledge worker-computer's interactive efficiency, and computers'interactive efficiency are the main components.â‘¡Fifteen secondary factors including working ability, physiology, psychology, personality characteristics of knowledge worker and hardware, function of computer were dug out in five aspects, namely knowledge worker factors, computer factors, information material factors, work method factors and environment factors by experimental study, literature research and enterprise interview.â‘¢The empirical results show that knowledge worker factors do affect knowledge workers'interactive efficiency greatly, computer factors and knowledge worker factors highly affect knowledge worker-computer's interactive efficiency, computer factors, work method factors and environment factors affect computers'interactive efficiency evidentially. Among them, knowledge worker's perceptual ability, presentation skill, thinking and innovation ability are the most influential factors for interaction among knowledge workers; psychological factor such as value orientation, work attitude and self-efficacy of knowledge worker and keyboard and mouse's fitness, running speed and stability of computer are the most influential factors for interaction between knowledge worker and computer; response speed of computer, applicability and compatibility of software tools and information system are the most influential factors for interaction among computers.
