21st century is more of a knowledge-oriented century; more and more companies are beginning the ideal research and practices in the field of knowledge management. People are getting to know that companies win their competitive advantages with knowledge, and knowledge-innovation is the main force which drives companies to improve and keep their competences. Knowledge-innovation in a company is not an affair of any single person, but of the communication and coordination among the staff. We name this kind of coordination the knowledge coordination. The main bodies of knowledge-coordination activities in a company are mostly persons, and the course of knowledge coordination is one of the knowledge exchange and innovation among people. During this course, the staff's knowledge-coordination abilities are the keys factors. While the study on this subject is in the initial stage and there is few breakthrough progress.This paper concludes results of the former researches, discusses about the concept and content of knowledge collaboration capacities and its elements, and it studies about the effective factors which work on the knowledge-coordination abilities. With this research, it may supply the relative studies with some references.This paper has done research work mainly from the following aspects:First, it defines the concept of the staff's knowledge collaboration capacities. With the summing up of the bibliography, referring to the existing concepts of knowledge-coordination and knowledge staff abilities, it gives the relative accurate concept. Further, it analyses the concepts.Second, it sums up the elements of knowledge collaboration capacities. This paper concludes and studies the relative results of researches on abilities, and it establishes the model of elements according to the course of the knowledge-coordination work. And it checks the model with practical method.Third, it analyses the effective factors on knowledge collaboration capacities. This paper lists the effective factors from the three different aspects of a single person, the relations among their mates and the level of the company's knowledge management. It defines each of the factors, introduces important research outcome and discusses about the relation to the coordination abilities. It sets the assumptions and checks them with practical methods.At the end, it concludes the important outcome and conclusions of this paper, lists the main contribution of this paper and further offers some suggestions to the future researches in this field.
