Analysis Of The Development Of Chinese IoT Industry And The Status Of The Industrial Chain

At present, the development of Internet of things, IoT, has been reguarded as the information industry development strategy for the next high point in China. However, there are still many difficulties in the development of IoT indutry because it is still at the initial stage in our country. At the same time, the developed countries tend to win the majority of domestic IoT market share with the speculation of Internet of Things.To avoid the above situation, our government need to develop practical and reliable policy to break through the bottleneck of the current IoT industry such as standards development and industry applications and grasp the initiative in the domestic market. Through analysis of status of the development of demostic IoT industy and the chain-related issues, the paper is to find the constraints of IoT industry and to provide recommendations for the government.This thesis includes five main elements. ChapterⅡbriefly introduces the basic concepts of Internet of things. The third chapter describes the development of the global Internet of things overview, including the global standards development as well as the development of Internet of things of the United States, Japan, Europe and Korea. ChapterⅣintroduces the development status of China's Internet of Things industry in four aspects including the standards, technology development, application profiles and regional development. Chapter five start with the theoretical basisof industrial chain, the IoT industry chain structure and the key chain joints in China are then analyzed. ChapterⅥsummarizes the key the constraints of China's IoT industry from the macro point and provide individual recommendations related to IoT industry.
