The Development Study Of Digital Content Industry, Based On Industrial Convergence

With the rapid development of information technology industry, a new industry, the digital content industry is flourishing in the world. As digital contents are considered as shared, reusable, non-consumption, pollution-free and green resources, the development of this industry can not only help to promote the traditional industries'structure optimization and upgrading and thus to achieve sustainable economic development, but also help to expand a country's cultural influence in the world, thereby enhancing a country's "soft power." Affected by the international wave, the digital content industry is also catching more and more eyeballs in China. But unfortunately, the current development of China's digital content industry still lies in the initial stage and there exists a lot of problems such as the shortage of human resource, the contents being out-of-fashion and so on, which might hinder the digital content industry's development. Therefore, it is significant to explore the development ideas and modes of digital content industry.This paper systematically describes an overview of the theories of industrial convergence and integration and introduces the relevant knowledge of the digital content industry including the causes, definition, and classification etc. systematically explained the causes, definition and classification of other relevant knowledge. Secondly, the paper presents the development of digital content industry in China and other foreign countries and analyzes the existing problems in the development of China's digital content industry. Then in this paper, from the perspective of industrial convergence, the empirical analysis was given to analyze the demand growth of digital content industry and the technology, business and management, and market changes are discussed in the convergence process. Finally, based on the analysis above, this paper put forwards the digital content industry's development priorities and safeguards, and uses the digital television industry and online game industry as examples to further explore the digital content industry's development, which is of great importance to speed up the development of China's digital content industry..
