| Energy is an important resource and indemnity in a country. Energy security is an important part of economic security. Especially crude oil supply security is a foundation stone of a country security. The refineries face a great challenge under the multivariate oil market and unstable international situation. The study of crude oil supply chain becomes more and more important. The knowledge of operational research and optimization is used to solve the"source-path-node-terminus"problem, make the plan of crude oil procurement, transportation and refining, and study how to use the crude oil strategic reserve system to resist the supply risk.Mathematical formulation is a well-known method for crude oil supply chain management. In this dissertation Chinese crude oil supply condition, demand condition, challenge and opportunity of Chinese crude supplying security and so on are mainly analyzed firstly, and then a continuous time formulation is proposed to set up a mixed integer programming formulation for the crude oil supplying, strategic storage, and refinery processing. Thus, some unanticipated events, such as source interruption and routes interruption of the supply chain, are added to the model, and then the crude oil supplying plans in both normal and abnormal situations are worked out. The results of case study show that the new approach can handle crude oil supply chain problems efficiently in both normal and abnormal conditions. |
