The study of water environmental system vulnerability derived from thevulnerability assessment of underground water environment underground. Inrecent years, the study on vulnerability of water resources, water-relateddisasters and water environment carrying capacity is gradual depth.Nevertheless, the water environment is not only a single water resourcesystem, but also a socioeconomic complex environmental system whichcovered water resources, water environmental quality, ecologicalenvironment. On the basis of water environment which is a complexenvironmental system, the concept of water environmental systemvulnerability is that natural, man-made factors and so on interfere anddamage the system, leading the system to lose its stability and coordinationof sensitivity and adaptability, causing the system unable to restore theoriginal system's status and function.As a complete and complex environmental system, the water environmentalvulnerability contains many factors, many uncertainties exists between thefactors. Set Pair Analysis deal with the new analysis method of uncertaintysystem, having been widely applied in many fields.This paper studied that set pair analysis was applied to a comprehensiveassessment of regional water environmental system vulnerability.The study included the following elements.(1) Selecting Anhui province as study area, according to the status quo ofwater environment in Anhui province and present conditions, this paperestablished the index system of regional water-environmental systemvulnerability.(2) This paper combined fuzzy mathematics and set pair analysis method,used the triangular fuzzy intervals underα-cut to express the coefficient of the discrepancy degree, and established the approach of the connectionnumbers assessment model based on triangular fuzzy intervals underα-cut.(3) This paper applied the approach of the connection numbers assessmentmodel based on triangular fuzzy intervals underα-cut to comprehensiveevaluation of Anhui water environment vulnerability, came to the regionalwater environment conditions of vulnerability. Proposed countermeasures oflower the vulnerability of regional water environment and improved regionalwater environment situation, which provided security for regional social andeconomic sustainable development.
