Companies' Co-opetition Mechanism In Industrial Cluster

In recent years, the phenomenon of industrial cluster attracts the attention of many scholars, in addition, research on industrial cluster has become a focus of management, economics, economic geography and sociology, etc. On the basis of relative theory at home and abroad, I make an attempt to explain the mechanism and the basic character of enterprises'co-opetition in industrial cluster, which I find hasn't been a mature theory. Therefore, the target in my paper is to explore this field and attempt a rational model of it.At beginning I sort out and summarize the documents related to co-optition and industrial cluster. Then I build a game theory model to explain enterprises'co-optition mechanism in industrial cluster, in addition, I analyze the situation in Henggang industrial districts. Next I analyze the general characteristics of two mature industrial clusters, Third Italy and Silicon Valley. At last I make an empirical analysis of Henggang industrial cluster to seek solution of promoting the co-opetition relationship between enterprises in industrial cluster. I use many research approaches in my paper, such as fundamental study,empirical study,review of literature,quantitative method and comparison analysis.My paper mainly deals with enterprises'co-opetition relationship in industrial cluster. I use theory in economics,industrial economics and game theory to make theoretical derivation, furthermore, I analyze the Henggang industrial districts to prove the rightness of the mechanism. I build a game theory model to simulate the game players'profit distribution in the process of the enterprises'co-opetititon. In the end I present some proposals to provide strategic direction and theoretical basis for forming healthy enterprises'co-opetition relationship in Henggang industrial districts.The conclusion made it consistent with the prior conclusion made by the comparative theoretical study,which indicates that the empirical analysis results demonstrate the enterprises in industrial cluster do exist a wide range of cooperation and competition. the paper focus the theory of industrial cluster from the micro-level,and it will enrich the industrial cluster theory.
