By looking at the growth analysis approach, the present paper examines the contribution of cotton crops on reduction of poverty in rural areas. We think that investing in cotton crop is not an error but a good experience for the other food crops. Analyzing sources of statistics, relation between growth income and poverty evidence shows that the poverty was reduced when the cotton price was high but that cannot realize without cotton cooperatives.Poverty is a real phenomenon in Central African Republic that constitute of 67% (2610000 peoples) of the population which estimated below the national poverty line in 2008. Poverty is seen mostly as rural phenomena because more than 72% live in rural areas and work in agriculture sector. The poverty is strongest in Ouham area which is located in Bossangoa about 305 km2 of capital. There, cotton is a principal source of revenue of the farmers which provide them with:foods, clothes, health, education many students pay their school fees by the income they got from the cotton and also build new houses. The cotton famers are organizing in cooperative hat help them to buy the inputs and sell their products. In Soumbe village, the cotton discount make the local development easier, this resource facilitate the creation of village pharmacy for the healthier of the farmers, established the clean drinking water pumps and engage the teacher to teach their children. Therefore, majority of the cotton cooperative in Bossangoa area don't make a very good success because those which from part of it did not yet acquire sufficiently the cooperative direction. A good cooperator must be discipline and knows how to pass the general interest before its personal interest. However, the good management of cooperative should look firstly for the mechanization of agriculture. It needs to buy inputs and machine and sell to the cooperator in cost price, in credit or rent to them in very low sum. To be a cooperator and benefit to those advantages, the farmer have to register and pay each year an unimportant contribution.Which actual food crisis and low price of cotton in international trade center and high inputs price, the cotton is going to lose market so that is better to organize food crops cooperative that will help the government to reduce efficiently poverty in rural areas. The China experience on the way which the farmer organize cooperative, create agricultural small and medium enterprises and got out from poverty must apply in CAR for efficient poverty reduction.
