Applyment And Secondary Development Of SAP R/3 In Yankuang Group

The economy globalization brings great impact to enterprises, especailly energy industry, and increasingly high pressure on the production and manufacturing management of companies. Enterprises must adopt advanced management information system and shrink their difference on management with foreign enterprises. Only in this way can Chinese enterprises maintain their competitiveness.After listing overseas successfully, Yanzhou Coal Mining Co.Ltd decided to launch the ERP (Enterprise Resources Planning) system. This project will enhance the power of management in the inner of the company so to decrease the cost. It will coordinate the internal work so that the entire superiority of the work can be emerged.This paper introduces the development process of ERP, from MRP, MRPII to ERP, introducing the standard Software of ERP-the basis function, technology composing and the principle in business process of primary modules in SAP R/3 system. According to the business character and network building in Yankuang Group, we anatomized the design project of ERP and the process of personalized software development in SAP R/3 system, also we analysed and assessed the benefit of implementing ERP project in detail.After three projects went live, Yanzhou Coal Mining Co.Ltd has realized a cross-area, wide range of business and multiple module ERP system. The mining solution of SAP R/3 system was firstly applied in China to strike up a multi-flat roof, multi-layer, multi-factory, multi-storage, multi-distribution organization and channel information-based management flat roof, which has reached a basic rudiment with complete range of business, integration, procedure, vitrification and real time and has achieved information-based management.
