Human Capital And Economic Growth Empirical Study

Economics stability and growth full employment, price stability and balance of payments are the main macroeconomic goals of each government, of the four economic growth is the most important. At present, Gansu province is in the economic restructuring, how sustain and rapid economic growth of Gansu province is require further studies. Therefore, research the status of the human capital of Gansu Province, explore its relationship with economic growth, identify problems, then propose increase human capital investment policy recommendations, to promote Gansu sustained economic rapid growth, have very important practical significance.In this paper, we reviewed the relevant domestic and international economic growth and human capital theories, and analyzed the status of human capital of Gansu Province since the reform and opening up. In reference to previous research on the human capital stock based on the results, We use principal component analysis, building human capital of comprehensive evaluation index system from two aspects of capacity in Gansu analysis of human capital stock which are the quality of human capital and human capital accumulation, and make it superior to other methods.Then, we apply the C-D model, quantitative analysis of the relevant data which is about Gansu Province of human capital and economic growth, demonstrated there is a long-term cointegration relationship between human capital and economic growth. At the same time, our empirical analysis of the physical capital, human capital, easy labor and total factor contribution to economic growth, try to find human capital on economic growth and the contribution of the intrinsic variation.At last, according to the above theory and empirical analysis results, the paper presents to how improve the human capital of Gansu contribution to economic growth strategies and recommendations. They include:the increasing human capital investment,vigorously develop education,establish a sound system of talent market,investment in human capital and physical capital investment should be a reasonable match and so on.
