Coal is major energy source in china, it has an important role in the national economy, and the mining of coal resource brings tremendous benefit to mankind, but has brought harm to our survival environment, such as land destroy, road crack, water accumulation, besides brought damage to buildings'structures on the surface and water system underground and ecological environment. Such as farmland reduction in harvest, many disastrous consequences are caused by mining subsidence influence the sustainable development, therefore its inevitable task is to control or minimize mining subsidence harm. The main factors which affect mining subsidence are natural geological factors and mining technical factors. Predicting the rule of mining subsidence before mining is the premise to restrict mining. For this reason, strengthening the research of the rule for mining subsidence has important theoretical and practical significance. Besides it also has great importance to control coal mining safety, protect the land resources and the mining environment and promote social stability and development of mining areas. In this paper, study has been made as follows:(1) The contents of mining subsidence and subsidence prediction was summarized and the importance of this study was proposed.(2) Developed the predicted program of rectangular face process based on the probability integral using the language of visual basic.(3) The seamless transition for the anticipated data format was realized.(4) The visualization of the movement of the surface mining and deformation prediction was realized using the platform of MAPGIS, besides achieved the visualization expression, and at last grid map of three-dimension, the map of equal color three-dimensional and three-dimensional map the contours map of Subsidence, tilt, curvature, horizontal movement and horizontal deformation were generated.
