Opc Technology In Tobacco Quantitative Packing And Packaging Automation Systems

With the rapid progress of science and economical development,the control system in industry is also becoming more standard and opener.the industry at present is an integrated business field,which covers FCS,industral ethernet control system,enterprise ethernet control system,the respective control system in different level played a very important role in each field. There are also so many company who did great job in their production design,but different corp developed and adopt totally different communication protocol and network,which result in a big problem in communicaion between different control system built by different company. So a standard way for client to access date from devices has appeared,the OPC standard.There are four main parts in this paper.the first part introduces the source of this program and the present research status of Quantitative Packaging system of leaf and pipe tobacco, then detailedly explained the background of OPC Tech,which include COM and OPC DA specification.The second part shows how the system work and what the frame of the system communication, Additionally how to choose the hardware and the principle of the electronic belt convertor is also talked in this part. The third part mainly shows the step of developing the control system.It mainly include the hardware&software configuration in Siemens's toolkit, from the hardware configuration to marking the interested OPC variable, then use the OPC variable to transfer information beween device and control system, The design of OPC Client is particularly introduced in this paper. The last part shows the communication speed between the main point of the system, a group of tests has been implemented to analyse the reading and writing speed using the OPC access,which can be used in the fllow-up researching.The Quantitative Packaging system of leaf tobacco adopt OPC tech to complete monitoring and controling the system.It is capable of acquiring real-time processing date from the field and write them to the Datebase.It promotes the automation level and the management level of tobacco company.
