With the depletion of copper resource, the soaring of international copper price(,) and the increasing demand for air conditioning, this paper will develop inner-grooved aluminum tube that basing on the mature inner-grooved copper tube production technology , which is more suitable than copper tube for air conditioner heat exchange tube. .What's more, the aluminum tube can reduce air conditioning costs, improve the competitiveness of enterprises and enlarge the third and fourth market which are represented by rural areas. In this paper, the production process of inner-grooved aluminum tube coil is mainly studied.During studying the process of aluminum tube coil, It mainly analyze and compare between mechanical property of the continuous extrusion tube and cold drawn tube In this paper. It can be seen that using tangential diefilling way can produce higher rate of expanding aluminum tube, but because of the instability of the production process, the difference in mechanical property of aluminum tube is big. Then after intermediate annealing studying, it can be seen that the mechanical property of high temperature annealing is better than low temperature annealing.During studying the spinning process of aluminum tube, According to plastic mechanics, stress analysis of reducing drawing and ball spinning mold is carried out. On the base of that, its process is simulated by finite element method. It contents the process of reducing drawing and ball spinning. During the reducing drawing process, influencing process parameters such as die cone angle, friction conditions, and leading oil ring radius on the forming are simulated, the best modeling programs and leading oil ring radius are obtained, also the influence of different friction conditions on drawing force and the influence of inner-grooved core head dragging force on mold anti-stress are analyzed. During the ball spinning process, the influence of different spinning amount, thickness compensating amount and feeding ratio on forming property are simulated, and the variation of tooth filling under different spinning amount and thickness compensating amount are got. Also the influence of process parameters on forming defects and metal flow pattern are analyzed.In addition, a large number of experimental being carried out on the basis of the simulation process, the results prove the accuracy of the simulation. It can provide a reference for designing mold in the future. Also it has a certain significance for real production. From the experiment, it can be seen that during inner-groove forming, using low viscosity lubricant can guarantee tooth filling.
