Plate Leveler is an important machine on board rolled process, but the proper function of traditional monitoring system are relatively simple, it is easily to influence to the personal experience, the precision of Plate Leveler often does not reach the required of market. With some new technologies of rolling straighten and new materials appeared, the traditional Plate Leveler had not met to the need of market, new generation of the strong and Plate Leveler must to be developed. As one of important Plate Leveler, the monitoring system also need to generation, because this system reflect the advance nature of straightening technology and theory, the good monitoring system can raises efficient of straightening and plate quality. In this paper, the monitoring system of Plate Leveler would be developed, the system which based on PCS7 would be generated at the theory and engineering practice.By studied of the Plate Leveler principle and computer control system, the monitoring system which based on PCS7 is be designing and programming, these can be reached from nodes and tracking control and equipment in the network, the monitoring system and the use of the rule of three levels.The Chapter one mainly discusses the background of the subject, the significance and content of the discussion. First we introduce the status of plate straightening, technological characteristics of Plate Leveler and the development of the status in home and abroad, then the significant of this subject is proposed. At last, the developments of computer monitor system are comprehensed and find the content of this paper.The second chapter introduces the first technical survey of Plate Leveler and the principle of straightening. According to engineering practice, the formula of the force of straighten, pressing volume and transmission power is derived. And then we introduced to the composition of Plate Leveler and the principles and tasks of monitoring system.The Chapter three introduces the network nodes of the monitoring system of plate leveler. For examples, pressure sensor, displacement Sensor, hydraulic pump and proportional servo valve ,then, introduces the industrial data communication network of the plate leveler .And this chapter introduces the hardware, software to achieve the control law and control law.Finally ,to meet the problem in engineering, this chapter gives a simple design improvements, and computer simulation.The fourth chapter which based on previous chapters analyzes the whole hydraulic leveling system, makes a list of the variables that need to be test in the project. For examples, the pressure of the four hydraulic cylinders, motor current, motor speed, value of roll gaps, the temperature of steel and the Real-time variables displayed on the screen in the main picture .then ,this chapter gives a simple introduction of the engineering realization of human-machine interface .The chapter five begins with the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System for Plate Leveler for development purposes, meaning to do a simple exposition ,then designs the Software and development of this systems. For examples, System flowcharts, data flow diagrams, functional module design and Some programming specific implementation details etc. Subsequently, the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System for Plate Leveler is carried out detailed design and coding.The last chapter gives a summary of Monitoring system for hydraulic Plate Leveler, points out the problems still exist, and discusses the future work to be done.
