In this paper,three anaerobic baffled reactor(ABR) models with 6 compartments were used on the study of the treatment of organic wastewater under the temperature of 35℃. Systemly measures COD of inflow and outflow, caculates COD removal rate ,organic loading rate and hydraulic loading rate etc. Hydraulic characteristics is analysed by tracing experiment. The kenetic model was made by the study on running rule of sludge bed in the reactor. The kenetic parameters were caculated out by monod model.The results indicate that:(1) ABR is suitable to dispose organic wastewater with high and low concentration. The results show that, under the hydraulic retention time of 3 hour,6 hour,9 hour,12 hour, respectively, the total COD removal rate can be higher than 75% and outflow concentration is between 75~150mg/L when treat low concentration wastetaer with COD concentration of 300,500,700,1000 mg/L; more stable and efficient removal rate can be attained when treat high concentration wastewater with COD concentration of 2000 and 5000mg/L, the removal rate is higher than 80%.(2)The study on hydraulic characteristics of ABR using LiCL as tracing substance shows that:ABR is reactor with compoud hydraulic characteristics, and accord with the process requirement of staged multi-phase anaerobic reactor (SMPA), which the whole hydraulic characteristics of the reactor is like plug-flow reactor (PF) when each compartment is continuous_flow stirred tank reactor (CSTR).The hydraulic characteristic change of the reactor without organic concentration put more influence on the structure of the reacor not HRT.The residence time distribution(RTD) research of the reactor with influent concentration indicates that the influent concentration and hydrodynamic residence time(HRT) both are important to the hydraulic characteristics of ABR, but the influent concentration is more important, effective mixing is observed with high influent concentration.(3) The comparision of the ABR model indicates that: the diffusing model bring more difference than the patial multiple complete mixed flow model, both of them cannot reflect the flow situation of reactor with influent concentration, they only can reflect the situation without influent concentration. They cannot ensure the influence bring out by the inner structure and mixing situation of the reactor. So, modifying of related model parameters is necessary to profound descriptions.Certain influence on hydraulic characteristics is related to the compartment number, influent concentration and HRT of the ABR.The related kenetic parameters caculated by monod model are:μmax=0.8201 g COD/(g VSS·d) Ks=0.3883 g COD/L...
