Industrial Park is the gathering area of industrial development and an importantcarrier of the resource consumption and pollution emissions, many parks which needrecycling transformation (PRT) to accelerate the transformation of development modeaccording to the principle of green, recycle and low-carbon development, raise theefficiency of the resource and to promote the environmental and economic benefits. In this paper, the similarities and differences of all kinds of the park in China isstudied, the path for PRT is designed according to the different characteristic of the park.Advanced experiences of the domestic and foreign industrial PRT are comprehensivesorted to find out the basic framework, the main task and methods, and evaluationsystem of the PRT. And then, the effect of Tongling PRT is studied to find out the futureimproving direction. Content and achievement of research are elaborated as follows:(1) The PRT of the park is studied to find out the key factors of the PRT, and theframework of the PRT is designed.(2) The potential of the PRT is identified by the methods of SWOT, PEST, andMFA. The application frameworks and methods of them are proposed.(3) The content and the path of the PRT are studied to promote the developmentof the park under the principle of the horizontal coupling, vertical extension, and linkrecycling.(4) The macro and micro environment of the Tongling PRT is analyzed. Themetabolism of the core industry chain, such as the copper and its associated resourcesrecycling industry chain, fine chemical recycling industry chain, is researched. Thepotential of the Tongling PRT is identified. The empirical study shows that the overall performance level of the Tongling PRTis improved and the economic-social-environmental benefits are achieved with thePRT process.
