Ventilation management is a key aspect during the producing of a mine, meanwhile, the ventilation network computation is an important part of ventilation management. In the design of a new mine,or,during the period of ventilation system’s upgrade,the computation of the ventilation network is needed to provide a fundamental support to the project,as to this,the computation of ventilation network plays an important role both in design and upgrade of mine.The paper analyzed and summarized the current development situation of software in ventilation area, designed the main functions of the software. Base on the graphic theory,the ventilation network theory,the ventilation network computation theory and methods, use the OOP(Object Oriented Programming) technique and three dimensional modeling technique, a software which has the main functions of building topological relationship,building 3D model of a mine’s ventilation system,and computing a ventilation network is developed.The topological relationship building function can liberate the workers from a boring work in building topological relationship manually; the three dimensional modeling function can build a 3D model of the ventilation system based on the data from basic ventilation graphic so that it can show the relative positions of tunnels directly. And the result after the ventilation network computation can also be queried from the 3D model.The software which referred in this paper has a certain practical application value, it can improve a mine’s work efficiency in ventilation management and improve the management level.
