Research On The Relationship Between Safetyleadership And Safety Behavior

Safety leadership is a key element of safety culture, which positive impact safety climate and safety behaviors.However,the top manager’s safety leadership represents the most important influence effects of safety outcomes in organization. Research on safety leadership was started from foreign countries.a lot of researchers devoted themselves to looking for the relationships between safety leadership and safety achievements. They have improved the important role of safety leadership in safety. However, safety leadership research in our country later than others, so the result are poor. In addition, few researchers research the impact pattern between safety behaviors dimensions and dimensions of safety leadership.From above discusions, we think it is necessary to make clear of the influence between safety leadership and safety behaviors and to locate cultivation direction of safety leadership by identifying the impact pattern between dimensions of safety leadership and dimensions of safety behaviors. Using path analysis method to test and verify the hypothesis model and the hypothesis relationship between dimensions of safety leadership and dimensions of safety behaviors in order to explore construction and advanced methods which fit for our country. The essay hasbeen finished six facets works:1. Collecting literatures from domestic and foreign countries, Basing on conclusions researched by scholars at home and abroad and the logical relationship about objects of this research, the research confirmsix dimensions of safety leaderships and two dimensions of safety behaviors and construct a hyphothesis model about safety leadership and safety behaviors,safety climate as a mediate factor and suppose hypothesis relationship between six dimensions of safety leadership and two dimensions of safety behaviors.2. Basing on the available questionnaires which have been verified reliable and considering our country’s culture, the research organizeda pre test safety leadership questionnaire.Before path analysis,the organized pre test questionnaire has been gone through scale item analysis,reliability analysis and validity analysis and finally determine the formal questionnaire.According the data of formal questionnaire,the research use path analysis method and provethe hypothesis modle relationship between safety leadership and safety behavior and verify the rationality of hypothesis relationship between six dimensions of safety leadership and two dimensions of safety behaviors.3. According to the path analysis results,the research basing on 6 dimensions of safety leadership as a trait of thinking and give some suggestions.
