Under the general background of oil drilling speeding up, shortening of pre-drilling required period year by year in Sichuan and Chongqing areas, for pool made from traditional local materials, such as brick and stone band, because of the lack of materials and craftsmen, it is time consuming for laying,maintenance and other processes. If cast-in-place concrete pool is used, many problems will appear such as multiple work interacted on the construction site,large construction quantity, long construction period and complex site management. However, the prefabricated pool is convenient for transportation,simple in assembling, quick in joint processing, convenient and efficient for waterproof construction, easy to remove, so it can rightly solve the above-mentioned problems. According to research on literature, on-spot visit to factories and results of all kinds of tests, three prefabricated pool schemes of different materials are determined which are prefabricated fiberglass pool,prefabricated steel structure pool and prefabricated reinforced concrete pool respectively.This subject will conduct technical and economic general evaluation on schemes of three different materials. The research mainly includes economic analysis and technical analysis. By calculating investment and cycle cost of each scheme, it can be concluded that the prefabricated reinforced concrete pool is the optimal economic solution using present value method. Later we evaluate 8technical indexes of these three schemes, including construction investment,assembly period, turnover frequency, complexity of assembly, module maintenance circumstance, the amount of construction waste at removal,construction noise and odor, waterproof and corrosion resistance of the pool,and then determine the weight and scoring. Using multi-target weight and ordinal score evaluation method, it can be concluded that the best technical solution isfabricated fiberglass pool.At the end, comprehensive evaluation method of value engineering is adopted to combine economic analysis result with technical analysis result.Using the ratio of functional coefficient to cost coefficient, it is proved that prefabricated reinforced concrete pool is the scheme of maximized comprehensive benefit which is both economically optimal and technically feasible.
