With the rapid development of digital information technology and network technology, the relationship between our life, production and communication, information is getting close. The internet of things(Io T) was born as emerge as the times require which takes the information exchanging between objects and object, people and object as the core.After the computers, internet and mobile communication, the Io T is another revolutionary of information industry, and the automation of production process supervisory control is a hot research in recent years, the emergence and development of Io T has also injected new blood for production process supervisory control. In the process of coal production, production safety and effectiveness has been the most important part of the production process, so to deal with the emergencies and improve the real-time transmitting of information is very necessary. And monitoring the production process over the Io T can improve the safety factor and production efficiency effectively. The Io T is a typical heterogeneous network, the nodes are widely distributed, many kinds of signal are existing and the environment of the production site is so complex, the internet technology is usually used for information exchange between people and people, it is not suitable for people and object or object and object. It takes the process of coal production as the preference object to develop the monitoring system in the paper, and it makes a deep research in how to improve the ability of dealing with emergencies and transmitting real-time data. The main work of this paper is as follows:(1)To introduce something about the produce, development of Io T and theapplication situation in nowadays; learning and understanding the characteristic about Io T data. And combined with the processing method of internet, we use it in Io T.(2)To take the coal production as an example, and summarize the characteristics in Io T production process, to learn the control mechanism in the process of production, and to build a comprehensive production application platform.(3)For the production safety requirements in the Io T environment, improving the heartbeat mechanism, raising adaptive heartbeat mechanism. Over automatic detection of network load conditions to calculate the frequency to send heartbeat package, it can reduce the network occupancy; then separate the heartbeat package into two kinds: normal package and express package, it can improve the reliability of this mechanism then we could know the nodes state more accurately, and strengthen production safety.(4)For real-time requirements in the Io T environment, by combining RSSI ranging and positioning algorithm can provide the mobile nodes real-time information. The paper gives the algorithm for position the unknown node in the three-dimensional space which can expand the position space and improve the real-time information.
