Strengthen the manufacturing is the necessary choice if countries want to develop stablly or comprehensive national strength to continue to improve. NC machine tools is an important tool of the manufacturing industry, its holdings and production are the important embodiment of modernization of a country, if our country wants to take a place in the fierce manufacturing market, we must develop NC machine tools of the high-end and efficient with independent intellectual property rights as soon as possible.Taking XK719 CNC gantry milling machine as the research object, the text based on the finite element technology, using the finite element software HyperWorks, and the machine, spindle box and pillar mechanics model is established, and make theirs static and dynamic performance analysis, Comparing the results of the analysis and the performance of the requirements to find out the weaknesses, shorten the product development cycle, reduce the cost, improve the comprehensive performance of the machines.1. Analysis the current situation of the development of the finite element analysis of dynamic and static characteristics of CNC machine tools, the research method and content of this article is established.2. The basic idea and theory of finite element analysis method is presented, and its corresponding software HyperWorks is simple to understand.3. According to the CAD drawings of the machine tool structure, and using the three dimensional modeling software SolidWorks complete simplified left axle box and column and the construction of geometric model, and then using HyperWorks software to complete the finite element modeling.4. static characteristic analysis on spindle box and pillar is researched, the spindle box and the pillar of the deformation and stress distribution as well as the natural frequency and vibration mode and so on is obtained.5. static analysis of the whole machine is obtained,and compared the analysis results the machine tool’s performance, the results showed that XK719 CNC gantry milling machine design completely meet the requirements of performance indicators.6. the harmonic response analysis is introduced, and through the analysis of machine tool, the results play a guiding role for the optimization design of the future.In this paper, the key components of CNC milling machine to the research application of static characteristic analysis can provide effective reference for practical engineering design.
