The band sawing machine is the equipment for the preparation of metal materialsto be machined. The machine has been widely used for cutting different kinds of metalmaterials. There are lots of harmful phenomena in actual sawing progress, which isrelated with cutting load and vibration, and it will have adverse influence on the sawingquality and efficiency. Therefore, in order to improve the cutting accuracy andefficiency, the study on cutting load detection and vibration suppression technologies onband sawing machine is very important.At present, there is a big gap in cutting accuracy, efficiency and service lifebetween domestic and foreign band sawing machines. At the same time, the domesticdemand for high performance and precision band sawing machine is increasing. So thestudy on technologies of cutting load detection and vibration suppression on bandsawing machine and the development of high performance band sawing machine areextremely essential.In order to develop cutting load detection and vibration suppression system onband sawing machine, the main study of this paper is as the follows:First of all, this paper introduces the background of this issue, and shows theimportant significance of the development of cutting load detection and vibrationsuppression system. Aiming at the three key technologies in system development, thispaper analyzes the research status at home and abroad, and introduces the workingcontents and structure.Then, this paper puts forward the performance indexes based on the workingprinciple of system. Based on the system working principle and performance indexes,this paper designs mechanical parts, electrical parts and software parts of system, itmainly includes the selection of components and the design of system software.In terms of the development of cutting load detection system, first of all, this paperintroduces the band saw blade geometric model. Then this paper gets the relationshipbetween undeformed chip area and cutting load based on analyzing cutting mechanism,and establishes the cutting load detection model. At last, according to actual workingconditions, this paper verifies the effectiveness of detection model by simulations andexperiments.In terms of the development of cutting vibration suppression system, this paper establishes the simplified model of cutting vibration at first, and analyzes the cuttingvibration response based on the simplified model. Then this paper analyzes the theory ofelectro-hydraulic servo vibration suppression system, and proposes vibrationsuppression system based on PID algorithm, which the parameters of system can beadjusted. At last this paper verifies the applicability of the vibration suppression systemby related experiments.Finally, this paper analyzes and summarizes the working contents, and prospectsthe theory which is related with band saw cutting load and vibration and should befurther studied.
