Nano-cellulose composite aromatic functional materials were prepared with essential oil and wood vinegar from aromatic plants as raw materials. And their performance were characterized. The aromatic plants, Syringa vulgaris of Oleaceae as the representative, essential oil was extracted by multiphase simultaneous distillation and extraction method, aromatic Components were analyzed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) method, Seasonal dynamics of essential oil from Syringa vulgaris were analyzed. The results show that aroma components of essential oils from flowers, fruits and leaves of Syringa vulgaris exsit in lower GC content, woody aroma and the highest yield of essential oils from leaves of Syringa vulgaris is in June. The results of preparation and characterization of four kinds of nano-cellulose composite aromatic plant essential oil membranes show that Tagetes patula essential oil composite membrane has thinner average thickness (0.030mm) and stronger tensile strength (51.80Mpa). Light transmittance increases with increasing of wavelength range of 200nm~400nm near ultraviolet, Sambucus williamsii essential oil composite membrane has the highest light transmittancee atvisible wavelengths range of 400nm~800nm. Scanning electron microscopy analysis show that micro structure of nano-cellulose composite essential oil membrane were smooth.Using Betula platyphylla and other aromatic cuttingwaste plants to prepare wood vinegar by dry distillation, B. platyphylla as the representative, founding formic acid, benzoic acid, acetic acid, cyclohexane acetic acid, propionic acid, butyric acid, valeric acid,3-methyl pentanoic acid, crotonic acid, vanillic acid as aromatic compounds of wood vinegar.Nano-cellulose composite aromatic functional materials were prepared with aromatic functional raw materials of wood vinegar, and were analyzed their antifungal activities and characterized their performances.Nano-cellulose composite aromatic functional material inhibition diameter were analyzed by SPSS 19.The results show that five kinds of nano-cellulose composite aromatic functional materials have inhibitory effects on Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Aspergillus niger, especially have strong inhibitory effects on bacteria. The inhibition diameter of nano-cellulose composite aromatic functional materials on Staphylococcus aureus is 21.48±1.02 mm, while on Escherichia coli is 21.21±1.74 mm.Aromatic composite membranes with wood vinegar as aromatic functional raw materials were prepared, their mechanical properties were analyzed and characterized. The results show that PVA/storage barrel upper refining birch wood vinegar/PVA membrane has thinner average thickness(0.67mm), stronger tensile strength(82.47 Mpa) and smaller elongation(17.5%).Their light transmittances were analyzed and characterized, the results show that light transmittance increases with increasing of wavelength range of 200nm-400nm near ultraviolet, PVA/storage tank under refining birch wood vinegar/PVA has the highest light transmittance at visible wavelengths range of 400nm-800nm.
