With the development of computer technology, communication technology and control technology, field bus technology appeared. Field bus technology promotes the development of the instrument and control system. CAN(Controller Area Network)belongs to the FCS category. CAN, as a new bus technology, has features of good performances and high reliability. The CAN bus is multi-host serial bus which support the distributed control and real-time control efficiently. The distributed network based on CAN can need the demand of practical engineering conveniently and low-costly, so it has become one of the developmental hotspot in autoimmunization field gradually.Based on CAN bus it is designed a type of remote detection platform. It consists of the structure of platform, related protocols, hardware build, user interface and data acquisition software. It is through CAN/USB adapter that sents and receives instruction. In industrial field, signal is collected by sensors and then send to data acquisition module by useing signal conditioning circuit. After completing the task of A/D convert and CAN bus sending, the signal is sent to CAN bus. It is through CAN to design data acquisition and control software that CAN realize displaying and data filtering, and on the other time, use this software it CAN feedback result to bus. The software can realize the communication between host and data acquisition module through CAN bus. It also can acquire, display and store data in PC. It is suitble for remote multi channel data acquisition and control. In the oil filed, it can connect many data acquisition module,easily extended and well flexibility. And the same time, some function of hardware is realized by soft ware, which saves the cost.
