Drugs is a special commodity, and its quality is directly related to human’s health, even to life safety. Currently, traditional pharmaceutical manufacturing methods can not be real-time tracking materials flow, resulting in confusing production, material loss and other phenomena. This is not conducive to quality control of drugs, and results in great loss. With high development of the Internet of things, RFID(radio frequency identification) technology has wide applications in the manufacturing fields because it can identify moving objects in large quantities and relatively far away.Traditional pharmaceutical production has low productivity and poor materials flow, for these problems, the article designs and develops a pharmaceutical production monitoring system based on RFID technology, and applies in Zhongzhi pharmaceutical company. It proposes a regulatory traceability solutions for medicine-production from raw materials to finished products throughout the total process. It can effectively monitor the actual operation of each workshop, including the circulation of materials. This paper carried out the following work:Firstly, according to the pharmaceutical production processes and the existing problems in Zhongzhi company, the paper formulates the production operation and function modules with RFID technology. Based on this, the article selects the C/S three-tier software development model to reduce system coupling, and designs the hardware architecture and software architecture of the system detailly.Secondly, based on the architecture of the system, it carries out a detailed software design, including protocol design, database design, interface design and algorithm design of core modules. The system integrates multiple sensing subsystems, it gets batch of tag data through RFID technology, gains weight data automatically with electronic weighing machines, tests in and out direction with infrared detectors and achieve the temperature, humidity of all workshops in real-time to record and alarm at appropriate time. It was developed with a SQL Server database and WPF technology.Finally, it sets up a test environment for database interface and all the system. The results show that the system can prevent the error flow of goods completely, and record the parameters during the production objectively and accurately, reducing the work of employees greatly. In one word, the production efficiency can be improved by more than half; meanwhile, the alarm and other means ensure high quality of pharmaceutical production.The management system designed for medicine production in this article has reference value and can apply in the manufacturing fields, for example, it can be extended to clothing production, toys manufacturing and other fields. It realizes intelligent and paperless production, and can trace the flowing goods in real-time, so it has a strong value in the actual operation.
